On March 25, 2024, from Zaslonovo station (Minsk Division of the Belarusian Railway) to Osipovichi-I station (Mogilev Division of the Belarusian Railway), troop train No. 961 (train index: 1682 018 1464) was dispatched with a consist of 49 railcars, including:
- 4 passenger cars (with personnel of the Armed Forces of Belarus);
- 3 boxcars (with equipment and ammunition);
- 42 flatcars (loaded with wheeled and tracked military equipment).
The train consist included military equipment and personnel of the 19th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade. Information about the 19th Mechanized Brigade can be found via the link.
Departure from Zaslonovo station – March 25, 2024, around 15:20 (here and hereafter – Minsk time);
Arrival at Orsha-Zapadnaya station around 18:40 (locomotive change and locomotive crew change);
Departure from Orsha-Zapadnaya station around 19:40;
Arrival at Mogilev II station around 21:20;
Departure from Mogilev II station around 22:20;
Arrival at Osipovichi-I station – March 26, 2024 around 00:35.
The troop train traveled from Zaslonovo station to Osipovichi-I station using diesel locomotive traction.
Troop train route to Osipovichi-I station: Zaslonovo → Orsha-Zapadnaya → Shklov → Mogilev I → Mogilev II → Drut → Osipovichi-II→ Osipovichi-I .
Near the city of Osipovichi is the training ground of the 51st Artillery Brigade (military training ground “Repishche”).
Previously, we reported that from Zaslonovo station, as part of the “combat readiness check of formations and military units of the Belarusian Armed Forces,” 2 troop trains were dispatched to the following stations:
- March 13, 2024 to Oshmyany station (22 km from the border with Lithuania). The troop train included military equipment and personnel of the 1st separate mechanized battalion of the 19th mechanized brigade (military unit 14398) and the 4th separate tank battalion of the 19th mechanized brigade (military unit 22092);
- March 24, 2024 to Lesnaya station. Near Lesnaya station (Brest Division of the Belarusian Railway) is the 230th combined arms training ground of the Western Operational Command of the Ground Forces of the Belarusian Armed Forces.
