The Military Communications Directorate (UVSO) of Belarus and the Central Military Communications Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defence have ordered the lease of 100 boxcars from the Belarusian Railway to carry explosive materials (hazard class 1).
The railcars leased from the Belarusian Railway for dangerous goods (class 1, explosive materials) are intended for loading and shipping ammunition from Belarus to Russia.
Loading is currently under way at many large artillery weapons and ammunition bases. Today, for example, loading is in progress at military unit 67878 (the 46th Missile and Ammunition Arsenal) in Bronnaya Gora. There is so much ammunition that the unit cannot handle the loading on its own and is bringing in personnel from other units to help.
After loading, groups of railcars (6–10 each) are sent to stations of the Minsk railway junction, where they are coupled to regular freight trains and dispatched (via Minsk – Orsha – Krasnoe junction – Smolensk) to destination stations in Russia🚂.
